Student wellbeing and pastoral care

Adolescence is a critical developmental stage. We support students in a number of ways:

  • Advisory/homeroom mentorship
  • Counsellors and wellbeing specialists
  • Social-emotional learning
  • Anti-bullying frameworks
  • Peer support and transition programmes

House System

Our House system brings together students from Grades 1-12, strengthening community spirit and fostering cross-grade relationships. House events encourage teamwork, leadership and a sense of belonging.

SMART Programme

Every day, students participate in SMART (Students Maximising Achievement Responsibility on Time) a 40-minute period dedicated to student-initiated activities including:

  • Academic enrichment
  • Teacher consultations
  • Student-led clubs
  • Service initiatives
  • Model United Nations
  • Personal projects or inquiry time

SMART nurtures independence, self-direction and passion-driven learning.

Leadership opportunities

Leadership is woven into daily school life. Students can take on roles such as:

  • Student Council leaders
  • House captains
  • Sports team captains
  • Peer tutors
  • Production and performance leads

These experiences help students build confidence, collaboration and resilience.
