Primary community
Parents play a very important role in their child’s foundational years and we encourage our parents to take an active role in their child’s education and school life. In turn, we aim to keep parents informed about their child’s learning progress, our programmes and the latest in educational research.
Parent involvement
Parent involvement in CIS’ primary school is actively encouraged and plays an important role. We provide many opportunities for parents to engage in their child’s education such as helping out with class reading activities, field trips and volunteering as a room parent with the PTA.
CIS is a community that celebrates learning, culture, and connection.
Throughout the year, our students and families come together to honour traditions such as Deepavali, Christmas, Lunar New Year, and Hari Raya, alongside our vibrant Uniting Nations Day.
Joyful events like Spirit Day, the Terry Fox Run, and our Primary productions and art exhibitions showcase creativity, teamwork, and the pride of belonging to our House system.
Every celebration is a reminder that at CIS, we grow together - diverse, united, and full of spirit.
