The IB Middle Years Programme (Grades 7–10)

A dynamic, inquiry-driven curriculum (MYP) forms the backbone of our Secondary School experience. It encourages students to make meaningful connections between subjects, explore real-world issues and develop strong academic fundamentals for the IBDP.

What students learn

The MYP includes eight core subjects:

• Language & Literature (English or Chinese)
• Mathematics (English; bilingual Chinese-English in Grades 7–9)
• Science
• Individuals & Societies (English; bilingual in Grade 7)
• Language Acquisition (Chinese, French, Spanish or English)
• Arts (Music, Theatre, Visual Arts, or Film in Grades 9–10)
• Design
• Health & Physical Education

Students also participate in Service as Action, developing empathy, global citizenship and a commitment to community.
