On campus procedure

On-campus procedures

We understand that your first week at a new school can be a little overwhelming. When and where is drop off, what are the rules around vehicle / pedestrian access and so on. Here is some information to help make your first week smoother. And remember, no question is ever silly, so if you are lost on campus (or just feel lost), ask one of our staff for help.

Remember to get your ID card request in early as you'll need to show your ID when coming onto campus.

Security

We do take security seriously at CIS, so make sure you register early for your parent ID cards as you’ll need to present your ID when you come onto campus. If you don’t have your ID with you, you will need to present a form of official identification (or a letter from admissions) to gain access to our campus.

If you’re going to be driving, you can register your vehicle and get a car decal. You’ll need to give us your number plate details and your vehicle’s IU number (this is the serial number from the small black device that sits on the drivers side of your cars dashboard) so we can register your vehicle.

ID cards

Each family is provided with 3 Parent ID cards at no cost when they join the school. ID cards for helpers and caregivers will bear the designation of “Parent” as they are deemed to be the parents’ representative.

Additional or replacement cards can be obtained from the school at a cost of $25.00 per card. You can order additional cards here.

All Parent ID cards must be returned to the school when your last child leaves CIS. Failure to return the cards may result in either your child’s report card/transcripts and/or your refundable family deposit being withheld.

If you have questions or need assistance, contact us at idcards@cis.edu.sg.
