Key accountability (Main purpose of this job):
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Admissions, the Marketing and Communications Manager will play a key role in creating and driving CIS’s marketing and communication strategies to build brand awareness and positioning, effectively describe and promote the organisation and its services, support, develop and implement internal and external corporate communications, and understand the target mark in order to drive lead acquisition.
Leading both the marketing and communication teams, this role will oversee the effective and timely execution of all strategic marketing and communication initiatives and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Responsibilities (Key areas of Responsibilities):
- Contribute to the overall marketing and communications strategies, and business plans, while ensuring compliance with EduTrust requirements
- Oversee and guide the team on all marketing and communications matters
- Manage the marketing budget, including expenditure and ROI
- Develop and manage the end-to-end process of marketing campaigns and CIS’s major events across all channels
- Create and manage release dates for recurring publications, and manage the annual content planner
- Manage all internal newsletters, advisories, communications and projects, ensuring content is on brand, publication-ready, and meeting deadlines
- Prepare routine reporting on marketing metrics, goals/successes, demand for CIS’s services and features, competitors’ market analysis, communications/channel performance, inclusive of recommendations for improvement and/or new channels and frameworks
- Manage the service level and quality of marketing agencies
- Manage surveys and prepare the related analysis, reporting and recommendations
- Create and distribute press releases when necessary.
- Develop existing referral, partner sites or lists
- Oversee the production of all marketing videos
- Oversee all marketing components of the CRM system
- Develop an alumni relations communications programme in order to promote the achievement and successes of prior CIS alumni to parents and the public
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Communications and Marketing professional
- Experience with marketing including content, SEO, digital and paid media
- Demonstrated ability in developing and driving marketing and communications campaigns and strategic plans
- Excelled communication skills and creative writing skills with a proven track record of strong written English
- Demonstrated ability in creating targeted content that generates measurable ROI
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Ability to quickly adapt to change
- Experience in the international school sector, either as a parent, educator or communications professional, will be beneficial
