Primary School Principal (English, French & Foundation Programmes)

Johnathan Daniels is an experienced international school leader with a strong background in primary education and leadership across New Zealand, the Middle East, and Singapore. He currently serves as Primary School Principal for the English, French-English Bilingual, and Foundation Programmes at Canadian International School (CIS), Singapore. Prior to this role, Johnathan held senior leadership positions including Vice Principal and Deputy Principal, where he led whole-school initiatives focused on academic achievement, student well-being, and community engagement.

With extensive experience in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), Johnathan has led developments in curriculum design, assessment and reporting, and the use of data to strengthen teaching and learning. He is committed to building a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, ensuring every student is supported, challenged, and able to thrive. Johnathan believes that “every child should feel known, challenged, and inspired to grow, both academically and as a person.” He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership and continues to engage in professional learning within the IB framework.
