Congratulations to these secondary school voice and guitar students who were recently adjudicated for the renowned Trinity College London and ABRSM music exams:

CIS students ace music exams
  • Nadia S (grade 12 diploma programme music student in voice) was awarded Merit for her grade 5 vocal exam.

  • Francisco M (grade 12 DP music student in guitar) aced his grade 8 guitar exam with a Distinction.

  • Ella K (grade 9) walked away with a Distinction for her grade 3 Trinity vocal exam.

  • Ysa B (grade 9) scored Merit for her grade 5 vocal exam.

Well done, young musicians, for your focused determination, performance expertise, passion and commitment in music! It’s great to see these students work hard at honing their craft through intensive lessons. The vocal students, in particular, have been taking private training as part of CIS’s Vocal & Instrumental Lessons Programme (VILP). Francisco, on the other hand, takes private guitar lessons outside school. These secondary students are also heavily involved in CIS’s music department and musical productions so kudos to everyone for doing so well. Your achievements are definitely music to our ears!
