Summer School at CIS
Every year, the Canadian International School offers a full range of summer school programmes. Our Development and Discovery Programmes are designed to offer a camp-style atmosphere, where students participate in exciting activities while interacting with other students from all over the world.
In past years, our Elementary Programmes (Development and Discovery), offer activities geared towards students from Early Childhood age through to Grade 3 (3 – 8 years). The Middle School Programme (Discovery), hold camps for Grade 4 to 8 students, (9 – 13 years). In addition to our morning Summer Discovery ESOL Programmes we have offered an Intensive English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) course for students aged 11 – 13 years to help them prepare for the rigours of high school.
A selection of High School Credit Courses offered at our High School campus, may include Mathematics, English, Business, Careers/Civics and English as a Second Language depending on enrolment numbers. Credit courses allow high school students to consolidate their understanding of academic subjects and can also count towards graduation requirements.
Our 2007/2008 Summer School term has ended and the next Summer School term will be in June 2009.
The CIS Summer School Brochure 2008/2009 will be available to the public in mid-March 2009.
