On this page, you will find important information regarding the commencement of school. All school wide information is contained in an e-package that has been e-mailed to you. Please take the time to peruse information that is pertinent to you and your child(ren).
Parent Handbook, Car Decals and Parent ID Cards
This year, the 2012/2013 car decals and new parent photo ID cards will be available for collection during orientation. If you have not yet submitted the request form with passport photographs, you may have to collect your card once school begins. If you would like to download the Parent photo ID form, you can download it here.
The Parent Handbook is moving to an online platform this year, and the link to this document will be shared in the first week of school. The Parent Handbook is a crucial document as it provides information on the policies and procedures of school life on campus, as well as pertinent details regarding bus transportation, school lunches and snacks, campus security, vehicle parking, campus maps, uniforms, etc. We encourage you to take a few moments to read the booklet so that you become familiar with its particulars.
Security Information
This information sheet regarding campus security should be of particular interest. Please familiarize yourselves with our security procedures.
Grade 4 students, parents and students who are new to CIS will be able to collect ID cards from the homeroom/advisor teacher during orientation, or from the main office on each campus in the first week of school. If you need to obtain additional family passes, please approach the main office. New 2012/2013 car decals and 2012/2013 ID card stickers can be picked up on orientation day.
