International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Scholarships - 2 Year Award
The Canadian International School is pleased to announce the launch of its IB Diploma Programme Scholarships (2 year scholarship). Designed to attract students of both outstanding personal and academic potential, the Canadian International School "IB Diploma Scholarship programme" will commemorate the schools landmark 21st anniversary. We are looking for students who will enrich our school community and benefit from a CIS education regardless of financial means. Applicants must have excellent academic results, strong communication skills, a desire to become involved in school life outside of the classroom, and exhibit positive personal qualities that indicate their ability to adapt to new surroundings.
The scholarships are open for application to internal and external students* that have completed the equivalent of Grade 10. For more information about the CIS High School Curriculum, please click here.
* Applicants must be able to comply with the Ministry of Education (MOE) requirements for students attending a Foreign System School in Singapore.
Scholarship Candidates must be scheduled to complete the equivalent of Grade 10 or GSCE 'O' levels by July, 2013 and must have been born on or after 1 January, 1997 to be eligible for consideration.
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent prior academic results
- Strong written and oral English
- A desire to become involved in school life outside of the classroom
- Adaptability to new a new environment
