Celebrating the Festival of Lights - Deepavali

Last week the ECE classes celebrated Deepavali. The children painted tea light holders, created sand painting decorations called rangoli, and had henna painted on their hands. The children also wore bindi and bangles, and flowers in their hair. Later, they demonstrated that they were risk-takers by trying some delicious snacks, such as murukku, mysore pak, and alva.
