IBO TEAM VISITS FOR PYP EVALUATION

On Wednesday, October 29th and Friday, October 31st Toh Tuck welcomed Kathy Derrick, Helen Cant and Tanya Lattanzio from the International Baccalaureate Organization. Together, they were the Evaluation Team who met with teachers, administrators, students and parents as part of the evaluation of our Primary Years Programme (PYP). On Thursday, October 30 th the IBO Team went up to our Bukit Tinggi campus to evaluate Grades 4 – 6 of our PYP.

This official evaluation visit culminated a year long process of inquiry, guided by our PYP Coordinators, Guy Chartier at Toh Tuck, and Calico Clarke at Bukit Tinggi. Staff, students and families had contributed to the “self-study” which examined how we might improve our PYP Programmes, and was the basis for our school’s Action Plan. We are very proud o the work of our teachers and children, and of the accolades we received from the IBO Team. Inquiry learning is in full bloom at CIS!
