1989	Canadian Overseas College at Toh Tuck Road Accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education , Canada to deliver the Ontario Curriculum and award the Ontario Secondary School Diploma
1990	Change of name to Canadian International School
1993	Opening of Elementary School, at Toh Tuck Road
2000	Opening of CIS Second Campus at Bukit Tinggi Road High School Students only (Grades 9 to 12)
2001	Move of Grades 6 to 8 students to campus at Bukit Tinggi Road
2002	Accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization to deliver the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
2003	Accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization to deliver the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP)
May 2005	Accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization to deliver the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP)
August 2006	Expansion to a Third campus at Kampong Bahru Road Elementary Campus (ECE to Grade 3) at Toh Tuck Road Middle School Campus (Grade 4 to 8) at Bukit Tinggi Road High School Campus (Grade 9 to 12) at Kampong Bahru Road
September 2007	Expansion to a Fourth Campus at 371 Tanjong Katong Road
April 2008	Construction for its brand new composite school on Jurong West Street 41 commences
