Food Festival - Request for Donations and Parent Volunteers
The UN Food Festival is a major part of the CIS Uniting Nations Week celebrations. The food festival allows students to sample food from other countries - exposing them to different food and cultures.

The Uniting Nations Food Festival could not take place without parental support. There are many ways you can help on the day. You can donate a dish from your country, you can volunteer your time to set up and decorate your country's stand, pack up and serve food, or you can volunteer to be a country coordinator.

If you would be able to volunteer your time in any capacity and/or donate a dish of food that represents your country we need your help. Please access the online form here and let us know how you will be able to help.

Parade of Nations and Performances

The Parade of Nations is an annual CIS event. For the first time in CIS history (for our western campuses), the parade will see students of all ages - ECE to Grade 12 - march together. Parents are welcome to help celebrate this event.

If you have not advised your child's teacher which flag your child will march with (i.e. which nationality your child will represent) during the Parade of Nations, please submit the information using this form. Please submit your child's information by Monday 16 January. This is applicable for elementary students only.

Students are encouraged to come dressed in clothes or costumes that represent their nationality or the nationality that they wish to represent on the day for the Parade of Nations.
